VarScreen RxReady is designed to detect and differentiate SARS-CoV-2 variants through an innovative combination of gene detection nsp-13 (helicase), 4 SGTF (S-Gene Target Failure) targets and 1 ORF1ab 3675 deletion.

Product Details

VarScreen RxReady has acquired certification from Ministry of Health (KEMENKES RI AKD 20303220035) to accurately detect and genotype the SARS-CoV-2 variant by detecting the SNPs polymorphism and deletion through the SGTF method (S-gene Target Failure). VarScreen RxReady has 4 SGTFs (H69/V70 deletion, T478K, E484A/K/Q, N501Y) and 1 ORF1ab deletion (SGF3675-3677) detection. This kit has a Limit of Detection (LoD) of 0.5 copies/µL reaction.

Procedures

Store the reagents at -20^oC upon delivery.
When ready to use, thaw the reagents completely. Prepare VarScreen Reaction 1 by mixing 0.2 µL of RT Enzyme with 14.8 µL of the VarScreen Reaction 1. Repeat the steps before with VarScreen Reaction 2. Mix well and pipette 15 µL of VarScreen Reaction 1 and Reaction 2 to each well of the PCR tube strip or well plate.

Each sample must be tested with VarScreen Reaction 1 and VarScreen Reaction 2. Mix 5 µL of the purified RNA sample and you are ready to run the PCR reaction.
