ShrimProtect MultiGuard IHHNV, DIV1 & WSSV qPCR Kit utilizes our advanced proprietary Fenrir Mastermix with specific fluorescence probes to accurately and efficiently detect target genes of IHHNV, DIV1, and EHP in various samples in under 35 minutes, simultaneously.

Analytical Performance

Limit of Detection (LoD): 10 copies/reaction.
Good linearity (R² > 0.99) from 100,000 copies/reaction until 10 copies/reaction.

Product Details

ShrimProtect MultiGuard IHHNV, DIV1 & WSSV qPCR Kit is being validated by Balai Pengujian Ikan & Lingkungan (BPKIL) and is waiting for the Distribution Registration Number (NIE) as a kit to detect the target gene of NSP1 from IHHNV, ATPase from DIV1, and ORF167 from WSSV. The kit also contains Internal Control for shrimp.

Procedures

Store the reagents at -20°C upon delivery.

Prior to use, ensure that the reagents are completely thawed and pipette 15 µL to each well of a PCR tube strip or well-plate.

Mix 5 µL of the purified DNA and the PCR reaction is ready to begin.

Which organs or tissue are best recommended for MultiGuard AHPND/EMS & EHP test?

Samples of tissues and organs, such as ectodermal and mesodermal tissue, connective tissue, hematopoietic tissues and organs, pleopods, gills, hemocytes, lymphoid organs, stomach, and abdominal muscles, are recommended for testing.

What extraction methods can be used to perform this qPCR test?

This qPCR Kit is compatible with various extraction methods, including commercially available spin column extraction. Achieve optimal performance by pairing this qPCR Kit with our ShrimProtect X-Kit.

Which qPCR channel is used for testing?
