ShrimProtect RxReady IMNV qRT-PCR Kit has been validated by Balai Pengujian Ikan & Lingkungan (BPKIL) and has acquired certificates NIE KKP RI D 2305720 BBC to specifically detect target gene ORF1 of the IMNV. The kit also contains Internal Control for shrimp.
Procedures
Store the reagents at -20oC upon delivery.
When ready to use, thaw the reagents completely. Mix 0.2 µL of RT Enzyme with 14.8 µL of the IMNV SuperMix and pipette 15 µL to each well of the PCR tube strip or well plate.
Mix 5 µL of the purified RNA sample and you are ready to run the PCR reaction.

IMNV infects tissues of mesodermal origin. The principal target tissues in the acute phase of infection with IMNV are the striated muscles (skeletal and less commonly cardiac muscle), connective tissues, haemocytes, and the lymphoid organ tubule parenchymal cells. In chronic infections, the lymphoid organ may be the principal target tissue.
