ShrimProtect MultiGuard AHPND/EMS & EHP

ShrimProtect MultiGuard AHPND/EMS & EHP qPCR Kit utilizes our advanced proprietary Fenrir Mastermix with specific fluorescence probes to accurately and efficiently detect target genes of Acute Hepatopancreatic Necrosis Disease namely pirA dan pirB, and β-tubulin gene of Enterocytozoon hepatopenaei in various samples in under 35 minutes, simultaneously.

Analytical Performance

Limit of Detection (LoD): 5 copies/reaction.
Good linearity (R² > 0.99) from 100,000 copies/reaction to 100 copies/reaction.

Sample Type

Purified DNA from broodstock, shrimp fries, shrimps, artemia, polychaeta, water, mud, and feed, with an internal control that specifically detects shrimp samples.

Product Details

ShrimProtect MultiGuard AHPND/EMS & EHP qPCR Kit is being validated by Balai Pengujian Ikan & Lingkungan (BPKIL) and is waiting for the Registration Number (NIE) as a kit to detect the target gene of AHPND from Vibrio parahaemolyticus, namely pirA and pirB, and β-tubulin of EHP. The kit also contains Internal Control for shrimp.

Procedures

Store the reagents at -20°C upon delivery.

Prior to use, ensure that the reagents are completely thawed and pipette 15 µL to each well of a PCR tube strip or well-plate.

Mix 5 µL of the purified DNA and the PCR reaction is ready to begin.

Which organs or tissue are best recommended for MultiGuard AHPND/EMS & EHP test?

Samples of gut-associated tissues and organs, such as hepatopancreas, stomach, the midgut and the hindgut are suitable for testing. In addition, faecal (non-lethal) samples may be collected from valuable broodstock.

What extraction methods can be used to perform this qPCR test?
