Bioinformatics Analyst

Your Exciting Role

Process, analyse and interpret high-throughput sequencing (HTS/NGS) data (e.g., DNA/RNA sequencing, metagenomics, microbiome) to derive actionable insights.
Perform data quality control, alignment, variant calling, taxonomic/functional profiling, and other downstream analyses.
Collaborate closely with wet-lab scientists (molecular biology, genomics) to integrate results from sample preparation, sequencing and informatics.
Generate reports, visualisations and presentations of your analyses for internal teams and external stakeholders.
Assist in the development of novel diagnostic or research products by providing insight from bioinformatics analyses.
Keep up-to-date with latest bioinformatics methods, tools and standards; propose improvements to optimize workflows.
Maintain accurate documentation of data, pipelines, protocols, and ensure reproducibility of analyses.
Development and continous improvement of Bioinformatics pipeline - HPC or cloud computing (AWS).
